The fire

As i watch the fire burn all that is mine, i keep one thing in side of me... hope.
i see the pain in my family's eyes and feel tears fall from mine.

Innocent lives lost because of stupidity.
who knew one little argument could lead to something so drastic.

now i sit here and watch as the flames begin to die.
and wounder why....

why me.....
