A Rose In The Winds

by RainbowSlider   Jun 3, 2006

I am so thankful for my life.
I was born in love and strife.
My father he named me
but my mother she framed me.
My father gave me mighty thorns of power
but my mother gave me the softness of flower.
It is not easy being a rose in the winds
but I survive through my friends.
I try to repay the gift of living
with all the many friends who are giving
as I to remember that life is worth living
but I must learn to be forgiving.
For life is adventure from cradle to grave
and it isn't always rose petals paved.
