Rejection

by PygmyPuff   Jun 3, 2006

If a person is meant to be a way,
But when they do,
They are ridiculed,
Then how will they be,
That of which are supposed to be?

Society has set upon us,
Rules and Regulations.
The truth is known,
But hid in the dark,
Leaving us alone.

Ups and downs,
They're all around,
But we can't see,
That we can be,
Anything we want.

Screw society. Be what you want to be.

This has to be my favourite, a perceptive write. The difficulties of finding yourself amongst hypocrites- most people will relate. Spot on
