A Perfect Lie

Words slap me across the face
And cut my wrist
Leaving scars upon my arm
And on my soul forevermore

Regret is the only word I understands
Walking in the rain
So no one can see me crying
And swimming to drown my sorrows

Loved by no one
Ceasing to love myself
Covering everything with a smile
Laughing to disguise the tears in my eyes

Seeing what I has become
Is like walking through fire
Ever so painful
The waves haunting with their darkness
