Masks

I wear a mask to school each day
A mask which covers everything
It covers the pain I feel inside
The pain that makes me want to die
My mask is decorated with smiles and laughs
Green hair and makeup too
But its all just a nice disguise
For what i\'m going through
It covers the angry thought
It covers the depression
It covers the endless nights
Of listening to my parents fight
It covers the emotions
That I cant bear to show
It covers what I
Dont want anyone else to know
I wear a mask to school each day
A mask which covers everything

I can relate to that, that facade helps you get through the day & it protects you from everything except yourself.
