Caged

If you look at the room you'll see beautiful velvet lining
But if you look at the woman you'll see that inside
Inside she was dieing
Her honey eyes were fool of her unshed tears
Wanting to let go all the pain and fears
The room was decorated with extravagant gifts
But the woman you could see the tremble of her lips
What to do she muttered
When she thought of what here husband would do
She gave a shutter
The room was decorated with things of the best
But the woman in her eyes there would never be rest
Closing her eyes she whispered sighing
A cage is still a cage no matter the velvet lining
