From Me To You

I dont know if you're fond of poems,
Or words too deep in meaning,
So i wont go overboard with my thoughts,
This here,
Its just as its seeming.

I want to be me,
Like you said i should become,
But i turned you away,
Because i wanted perfection.

But now i can see,
It was for worse, not for better,
Because i ended up too blinded by tears,
To even see my own reflection.

Let alone what was inside,
My hopes,
Dreams,
Longings,
They were all thrown away,
Out of my heart,
For anothers sense of belonging.
