My premonition

I've had a vision,
that I can not escape
tearing my life apart,
and I'm out of tape
I saw the world
though I fear it was hell
it's been happening for so long
now I need to find someone to tell
I saw storms of all kinds
I could feel anger from the sky
tearing threw life
everything had to die
a plague of disease swept life away
it devoured each little soul
I wonder why this was happening
it seemed to be something’s goal
I saw something I'll never forget
the only thing to make me cry
I saw my eldest brother
lying there about to die
when he did I tried to close my eyes
but I think they wanted me to see
water became blood
everything was now a red sea
there was so much blood!
covered all in my sight
and I have the same vision
both day and night
why do they show me this
it can't be true
why must I see this
when there's nothing I can do
I try to stay calm
and reach for my bothers hand
but he's so far away
I don't understand
storms, disease, and death
I saw people I didn't even know
from places I've never been
from places where no one can go
I saw my own dead child
walking threw the river of blood
I saw her as she called out for me
whispering "mommy"
as she disappeared in the flood
