When Life Gets All-too Good

by My Obsεssion   Feb 19, 2004

Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out.
When everything hurts so bad you just want to shout.
He might just even think of you,
in a way to love you like you love him too.

It used to be chance that you would lock eyes.
Now it happens a lot with very few tries.
But you quickly look away as if nothing is there,
so he won’t know how much you really do care.

Before it hurt so bad all you could do was cry,
and the tears wouldn’t come even though you would try.
You cried for him, you cried for love,
that was carried to you by a solemn dove.

Then, for once, he was there to comfort you,
while you were feeling all too blue.
He probably would have done more that day,
except when he tried, he was quickly pulled away.

You love him and now he might like you,
though all this seems just to good to be true.
He may spend time with other girls all day,
but there is a chance that you are the one to make him sway.

Now instead of being depressed and a disgrace,
you can’t even take that smile off your face.
You’re so happy, now, that your vision will swim,
and you can’t, no you can’t, take your eyes off of him.
