The Trigger Pulled

by PRINCESS-   Jun 4, 2006

These eyes show of weariness and sleepless nights
nights one can only have nightmares about
on the outside of this broken body
Its Told That The Cuts will never heal
the scars deep within will never go away
No one cares and never will
a social outcast trying to find her place In This Messed up world
She wants to die shed find any excuse
to put a gun to her head
but the little things hold her back
why she waits for them she'll never know
her so called "friends"
they look at her with fake smiles and numerous lies
"everything will be ok, I'm here for you"
but they're never there when she needs them the most
Can they not see the death in her eyes
Her true wish to die
she asks "will you care when I'm gone, will you cry if i died?"
each and everyone answer's yes
she knows there just more lies
they don't care if they did
they would have seen this problem sooner
now the time has come
she just gives up
she really doesn't care anymore
nothing can ever make this pain go away
in the quite dark night
the trigger got pulled
"now lets see if they care"
were her final words

Very well penned story. Your words struck me hard, and the endnig was just the perfect finale to such a tragic story. 5/5 :)

I can so relate to that i always think if one more things go wrong than i would have an excuse to end it all, but little things make me want to stay, to see what happens. Great poem keep it up 5/5
