A ghost of you
Always on my mind
The real you my heart
Will always be denied

A ghost of you
Always in my heart
Ripping
And tearing it apart

A ghost of you
Always in my soul
When you left
It left me with a hole

A ghost of you
Always in my head
Memories gone
Now replaced with dread

A ghost of you
Always with me
Haunting me
Will never leave me be

A ghost of you
Always in a picture
Always there
But no longer with her

A ghost of you
Left me heartbroken
Could things have changed
If different words were spoken

The real you
Has left today
But a ghost of you
Will always stay

    Excellent ending. It really summed up the entire poem.. it was great
    The repetition you used was not overbearing at all and really helped with the flow of the poem.
    And it's a topic that many people can relate to =)
