How stupid I must look in everyone's eyes
I sat back and let you treat me like crap
and worse I believed your lies
maybe I was afraid that no one else would want me
so I stuck it out with you
now I realize how crazy I must be
to let you do to me all those stupid things you do
I don't need you and I finally understand
that being with someone isn't important
I do not need any man
you called me stupid
well that one thing was true
because I had to be really stupid
to want to be with you.
