Friends was a word we kind of skipped,
Like was a word we only used a bit,
Time was not a problem for us,
Cause this isn't just some little crush.

I handed you my number,
You sent me a text,
What was I feeling?
What was going to happen next?

I'd just finished work,
It was like 9 o'clock,
But you didn't care,
You came and picked me up.

We sat in the back seat,
It was kind of weird,
Something different,
I mean I haven't seen you in like 2 years.

After a while,
The car finally stopped,
You held my hand,
And put me on the spot.

You said something,
It was like "Can I kiss you"?
I knew it was wrong,
But the feelings I felt were just so strong.

The gentle touch of your lips made my head spin,
And no it wasn't the alcohol we were drinking,
You made my whole body shake,
I knew there was no way this could ever be a mistake.

From that night on,
I knew you were more than just someone,
I don't know why but this might sound stupid,
But I think you could be the 'one'.

We started seeing each other on a regular basis,
I didn't know how everyone else was going to take this,
It was also horrible too,
Because I didn't know your ex was living with you.

But she didn't stop us from seeing one another,
I didn't care what she said,
It didn't mean anything,
Shes just an 'ex' lover.

I love the way you pull me in and "div me a tiss",
I love the way how that is what we call a kiss,
I love the way you hold me tight,
And whisper I love you before we say good night.

We've nearly been together for 2months,
It's not that long,
But some how it feels,
As if we've been through so much.
