You dont know me

I am a human being
made from flesh and blood
i have feelings and a soul
but before you even know me
you hurt me with your words

I'm in a wheelchair as no fault of my own
you don't know how painful it is
if like you i walked run or crawled

yet you say hurtful things to me everyday
my god man can you see me
I'm human too just see

before you start all your slurring and cussing me right down
just think of me as you
and if you would like it done

i may be in a wheelchair and unable to walk
but i have feelings too and your words hurt me so

so if you haven't heard what I'm saying now
wake up and come and talk to me
as one day who knows you might be me
