Friendships fade

Okay.. so this really isn't poem just some random thoughts i have about some things are going on in my life.

friends say i need to change.
i know i do.
but i cant change everything about me.
if they cant accept me for who i am
then they're not really my friends.
friends come
and friends go.
but best friends are supposed to be forever
and they're not supposed to fade.
so many memories kept to ourselves.
so many tears cried and laughter shared.
what do you do when you think you're losing a part of you?
that part of me is you.
my best friend.
the one who's supposed to be there until the end.?
