I didn't think it'd get this far

You have broken your first promise

you said that you would stay.
Yet another broken promise
it seems as though you've walked away.

You promised I won't be afraid,
you said you'd fight away my fears

I'm drowning in a sea of tears.

You promised we'd move on
that you'd be more than just my friend.
Yet another broken promise,
on your own you've found an end.

I promised not to break your heart
you said you'd never break mine.
But my heart is torn to pieces,
you broke a promise one last time.

I promised not to cry
I said I'd get over you.
