Incomplete.

by Lisa   Jun 5, 2006

Each night, I lay upon my bed,
The morning to come holds the day I dread.
Waking with pain upon my heart.
Not knowing where to end, nor where I should start.

Impressions embedded upon my brain,
Memories of love, they drive me insaine.
You chose to hold back, from the love that we shared,
I was a fool to think that you cared.

When you spoke of our love, did it turn you inside,
Regret ever knowing me, did you want to hide?
I know that the love I held deep in my heart,
Was always a vision that we'd never part.

My heart now lays empty, and my soul torn in two,
I never imagined my life without you.
My heart feels as though its been ripped from my soul,
you've taken apart of me, I'll never be whole.

This is a fictional poem.

Oh Lisa, in your words I can feel the pain, although you call it fiction..it brings up feelings of confusion, like the person has alot of thinking to do, I can see alot of ppl relating to this . Denise
