It wasn't meant to be

Who thought that a simple mistake could mess up a chance,
to an opportunity of romance.
I wrote down your screen name wrong,
and I was unable to get a hold of you.
Once we talked there was nothing I could do.
You gave up on me,
and found someone new.

Our friendship keeps growing,
and it only makes me want you more.
Knowing that I could not have you,
it just made my heart tore.

More and more you grew to like me too,
When I looked into your eyes I some how knew.
One day we'd be together,
but I didn't think it would be like this...
You cheated on your girlfriend,
when we had our first kiss.

Why should you go behind her back,
like she does to you?
Doesn't that tell you that your relationship with her isn't true?

We thought things over,
and talked things through.
I hope you soon realize what the right thing is to do.

Who do You love?
Who do You want more?
Whatever you deside is what's meant to be.
I care for you so much, I hope you choose me.
