My Midsummer Nights Dream

by Daniel   Jun 5, 2006

My Midsummer Nights Dream,
began like this.
I was on a cloud,
Oh it was such sweet bliss.
You were in my arms,
Snuggling close.
I smelled your perfume,
I was in heaven.
Then we walked across the moon,
Hand in hand.
We swam in the ocean,
Made castles in the sand.
The dream was coming to an end,
Even thought I implored it not.
But like a locomotive,
It was something I could not stop.
But just as the dream was about to come to an end,
And you leaned in to kiss me.
I woke up real fast,
In a nervous sweat.
Wishing that that could be real.
