From dusk to dawn they sing

by Elynnka   Jun 5, 2006

Raven eyes wrapped in dusk - a veil of sadness,
Innocent child trapped within sordid madness –
A life of frail thoughts that fade in the night
Struck down by the merciless cold moonlight.

A melody of solitude sung by angles in the sky,
Another note that hails for Heaven, not another lie.
Wings of white – pure like their golden heart
And auras bright – they find their path through dark.

The clouds are gathered to cry upon earth with rain
As aromas of lavender and roses from above came
To impregnate their scent upon the misty town
Where everyone's asleep and makes no sound…

The stars still flicker among the clouds – shimmer light,
Pale silver rays of hope that instill reasons to fight.
The wind blows cold and the storm seems to get near,
But the angels are looking down on us – have no fear.

Dreams and nightmares disturbing silence – motionless screams,
Blood-red petals falling gently upon rivers and silver streams,
Cold raindrops soak the withered ground - red roses bloom,
A fairytale landscape, an ethereal realm without doom…

The moon goes down and the sun emerges on the sky,
The clouds are scattered as they have no more raindrops to cry
And angels sing to greet the day in bliss – golden rays of love
Are sent down on earth from the sun that reigns in the realms above.
