As I think of all the times we sat
and talked of many things
Sometimes I even shared my
dreams of us
Someday becoming more than
friends
Maybe going off in separate ways
Or maybe you and me becoming
a family.
Then it hit me
Maybe we just weren't meant to be.
As you know I believe that what
happens in life
Is all for a reason so maybe you
and me
Are going through this tough time
for a reason
Maybe it is a sign that we weren't
meant to be
Or maybe it is a sign for how easy
it is for something to
Come between us
Then again it could be to bring us
closer together.
But in my heart I will always love
you as a person
However I don't think we were
meant to be
But who am I to know the future?
I only play my part
Which is going with the flow
And doing what I know needs to
be done
Such as leaving you behind in the
DUST!
