Spring

by Keira   Jun 5, 2006

Pastal colored buds, gracefully blossoming into pools of phenomenal color, the apple trees exploding into many harmonious shades of pink, and bees eagerly buzzing from one stunning flower to the next.

Flowing rivers trickling through solid, gray rocks, the life around you springing back, the bustle of everyday life slams into you like a hammer to a nail, and the birds majestically singing their monotonous songs for all to hear.

The fresh, overwhelming, scent of the vibrant green grass, the flower's overtaking aroma that makes you feel completely at peace, and the light, sweet, scent of pollen perfuming the air, smoothly flowing through the sky which instantaniously puts you in a drowsing trance,

The sweet, luscious, freshness of all that is around me, the moisture that hangs heavily in the air and soon transforms itself into a warm, enjoyable rain, and the mounds of cookies of many delectable flavors left over from winter.

The gentle caress of the wind against my skin, and the sun shining over me, melting the cold of winter from deep inside my core, and the grass tickling me as I watch the serene setting.

All This I Sense...
