I got the frightful news today
And I fell down to my knees...
My angel here on earth
Was brought to the land of peace.
Oh, why'd He have to take her?
Before we could say goodbye...
Unaware of her last thought
When it was her time to fly.
I'm walking in a world of confusion,
Living in disbelief and denial...
Thinking back on her hidden strength
When facing life;s trials.
Was there something that I could have done?
Something I forgot to say...
Like how much I love her,
And how I'd help her along the way.
How will she be remembered?
As the vision of her fades...
Thinking of our good times,
The memories we made.
I dont know how I'll live without her,
But I know I must hold on...
Surviving with the knowledge that
She's a reason I'm so strong.
