Once upon a time
There was a girl that was in love
Thought he was her angel
That god sent from above
But he never showed interest for her
Only as friends, never a lover
Although that she liked him, he was almost sure
He had this instinct in him
She would pray to her angels at night
That he would someday love her
Someday wish for her at night
As she had for so long
One day she made up a stupid story
That she had found a man that was true
They nearly met and had kissed
He was shocked; he asked "how could you!"
"A kiss is something special between two,
Not something you can go out

She noticed his jealousy, when he began to shout
But why did he care?
Had he started to like her?
Had he noticed she was there,
not only as a friend, but as a love partner?
She was so happy to hear this
Though now,
He thought wrong of her
Though she had made herself a bow
That if they ever got together
She would tell him
And be faithful and true forever
Until her death
So on they went talking everyday
They seemed like a couple
Like two hearts aching
That went to single from a double
Their friendship was a beauty
Nothing that anyone can compare
Something that god created
Between two souls to share
So await the miracle
