Dark; and Publicly Shy

by Kayd   Jun 6, 2006

Wipe away my dark side,
I'll come clean for you.
Slaughtered words will hang free,
In shades of red and blue.

With time you'll grow to see,
Just how I really am.
I can't cut free my true side,
or I don't think I can.

With tidings of different winds,
I must first find myself.
Just have a little patients,
I'll soon check into health.

And either ill or not,
I'll learn of what I need.
Lust and passion must be put on hold,
As my darkness is my seed.

To uproot it I must first,
Fix my past done wrongs,
But mending them will cause pain,
But finished will sing like gongs.

I'm sorry for the time,
You've spent that truly failed.
I simply wasn't ready then,
But now I can't be bailed.

Like writing it's an addiction,
And I thought I'd never hook,
But I suppose I'll have to live,
My scratching in a book.

I'm a little dark it's true,
But you soon shall see,
Dark and publicly shy,
I all I am to be.
