End It

by Kayd   Jun 6, 2006

Minor scratches,
Start anew,
Forget the past,
That cast so blue.

Watch the waves,
Things take time,
For in small things,
Can be rhyme.

With tender touch,
Can wrongs go right,
And only kindness,
Can win the fight.

Let it end,
The battle of blood,
Sweet moves induce,
The water to sud.

And then wash away,
The motives so clear,
Little by little,
Wounds will heal.

Combat kills more,
Than the wounded one,
Energy sapped,
And time gone.

Now amend and forget,
Better now than ever,
Acquaintances made,
Friends for the better.

This poem really talked to me. I like what you had to say. Love the 'amend and forget'. I needed to hear that. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemies.
