Ill Wait

by Kayd   Jun 6, 2006

I'll wait for the moon,
it's slow progress creating perfect beauty.

I'll wait for a song,
flown through the air in gentle words.

I'll wait for the waves,
reeled in by the tides of time.

I'll wait for the light,
living life at it's fullest and most perfect.

I'll wait for the sun,
it's reliable self rising each day.

I'll wait for the rain,
the sound of soft music caressing the mind.

I'll wait for the noise,
diesel fuel combusting in beaten trucks.

I'll wait for the voice,
taunting my ears wish sweet melody.

I'll wait for the smile,
the only time the world stops for you.
