I woke up crying

Without saying good bye
I went out the door
But you were no where to be found
I was so scard
So I cried a little harder
I wasn't going to give up
So as I was crying
I was searching for you

I was stepping on glass
The glass was the pain I had gone through
Trying to get you back
But you never did come back
It's like you didn't care how hard I would try
To get you back
As I woke from the dream
I felt as if it were real
For I had tears
Tears falling down upon my face
But now I know it was only a dream
And me and him
Are happier than we could ever be
