Tied Up Too Tight

by Jemma   Jun 6, 2006

A cool weight that surrounds my hands
Just a little water in these poisoned lands
A link between heaven and earth
A light trying to free me from my curse
Always failing

Shadows in the dark, black forms out of grey
Silence in the night, I await the call of day
Just to walk, just to run
Just to stand holding the gun
Always reaching

A cool weight, feel the chains
Lets all act now to our own gains
Become like them, become like me
Forgive me; I'm just a shadow
Please, please, please

The ties, so tight, free me from my mind
Please untie me; give me a chance to hide
Open my eyes, listen for my ears
Let the light find me and dry up the sunken tears
Always trying

A cool weight, metal on my wrist
Bruised, torn in the mist
Joined in pain together
Lost in lies forever
Again and again

**Not too sure about the title but i couldn't think of a better one**
