Don\'t cry

Dear friend i haven't known you long
but every time we speak i want to write a song
so i thought I'd try it try and make you feel better
i have finished my poems and put it in a letter
so please friend read and think of all the time
it took me to make up this unforgettable rhyme
i wanted you to know i will be here for you when things get cold
hearing you cry will never get too old
i know you have had your heartbroken and you wanna die
but i would far more prefer to sit with you and cry
i cannot tell you not to it is no use coming from me
you have to tell yourself you'll make don't you see
he is just a guy a guy that you fell in love with
before you met him you thought love was a myth
but you came to realise how love can change a person
no matter who they are or where they came from
but my friend hearts can heal i have learnt so myself
feeling this way is not good for your health
please dear friend i ask of you don't leave me
your such a great person why can't you see
just listen to your soul open your eyes and see
that although we may be different your just the same as me
we both have went through heart ache
the kind that can make your body shake
but we will both pull through if were together
we can make it through all the stormy weather
so dear friend i ask of you
please don't brake my heart and leave me too.
