Longing for that feeling again
This heart of mine has yet to mend
Crying every night and every day
I have said all I can to make you stay

I wish I was numb to the pain
And my tears weren't mistaken for the rain
You say you want to be with me
But yet this is how you let things be

Wondering if you are going to move on
I can't help but get this feeling you're already gone
I keep asking for the pain to stop
I'm trying my best to be as strong as a rock

Knowing this cuts deep in my heart
I feel like I'm slowly falling apart
The scar's show but that you'll never know
And I sit here and just watch you let go

I won't ask you any longer to stay
This is how you want it this way
Ill pretend like things are ok and I'm just fine
When I have all these thought going through my mind
