Tears

I'm drowning in all my tears
wishing for a better day
& wanting it to rain
to hide the tears away.

but if you were here to help me
and wipe away my tears
then maybe i wouldn't always be
hiding from all my fears

maybe if you were here to help me
i wouldn't be crying so much
but right now I'm holding back the tears
so people wouldn't stare so much

but i know you wont help me
and you'll never be by my side
so i keep crying all these tears
but at least I'm trying to resist this depressing tide
