Not Quick Enough

by shanice   Jun 6, 2006

Down the road,
Not across the street.

Nice and deep, quick and easy.
Find the main one, you got it now.

Up and down, do both hands.
Now let it fall, so rich and red.

One drop, Two drop, now a puddle.
Still not there, it needs more time.

How about again, try another.

Take the whole bottle, one good gulp.

Feel it coming, almost there.

Still not quick enough? Want to try again?

Tie it tight, let it squeeze your skin.

Now jump off, time to swing.
Got it now? Is it quick enough?

No, its not? You donâ??t want to now?

Too late, thereâ??s no turning back, you walked down the road
Then you took it all in one gulp, now youâ??re swinging,
All because life was too hard, too much for you too handle
And that walk down the road was way too slow,
The feeling in your stomach was not quick enough
Now youâ??re swinging, and itâ??s still too slow,
But you want to come down now, itâ??s all too much.

Too bad, itâ??s too late.
Now, when you wanted it quick, itâ??s taking its time and therâ??s no turning back.

Life was too hard, but ending it was harder, so many ways, and youâ??re gone on the third.
What took so long? Next time be quicker. If your friends need help,
tell them where to find me.
Iâ??m always available, Iâ??ll take anyone.
Just tell them, Iâ??m the one in black with the hood on

And Iâ??m waiting for them, the fools who leave because itâ??s easier, its quick,
WHEN ACTUALLY IT ISNâ??T.
