Unwanted

Born into the arms of hell,
you hid the lies so very well.
They say I'm turning out like you,
well I should be after what you put me through.
You kicked me out and walked away,
these words burning in my soul are getting harder to say.
There was two of us, me and my brother,
you threw away one and kept the other.
Why did you keep him and not me?
what was the difference that your eyes claimed to see?
Thanks to you I struggle with who I should be,
not knowing if I'll measure up to the standards of everybody.
Why wasn't I good enough for you?
How can I change I'll do whatever you want me to.
Because I'm sick of being unwanted,
I'm hearing your voices in my head I'm being taunted.
