Goodbye Note.

by Megann Lee   Jun 7, 2006

Her mind spins, in a thousand little circles, creating havoc as it goes.
Her hands are shaking, as they scribble these messy words on the notepad she holds.

"I can't help but think, of how I messed this up.
I can't help but think, all things that could of went wrong, have.
As I sit, and stare, I can't help but notice, our relationship tumbling down a never ending hill of Failures."

She lifts her hand, her grasp on the pen, causing the paleness of her skin to rise.
As tears begin to fall, they splatter upon the saddening words she jots down.

"I know I promised, I know I was wrong.
I can't help but to think, this was all another mistake.
The process is yet again repeating itself.

She throws the pen at the wall, her hands grabbing her hair.
As she pulls she slides her hands down crumpling the scribbled down letter.

And as she hurls it at the waste bin, her eyes red from cry.
She screams out in her risen anger, all the things inside her head.

"How could it be true, if this is love, why'd you abandon me like this?
I'm not as important as you say I am, and I'm screaming out for you to notice.
I sink further into depression, and you're no wheres near, to hold my hand.

I have fallen in to deep, and you can't see, the lies I've told.
Just to make you happy, and take mask my fears.
This never ending dream, crashed and burned as I speak.

It was pointless to try, and rekindle something that wasn't meant to be.
Now my heart, just shatters into pieces, like a broken glass thrown at the wall.
And with this final tear, I say my farewell.

Goodbye, Goodbye I say.
I love you, but this is the end.
My heart is broke, and the story has died."
