Sunset

by Mekia   Jun 7, 2006

Slowly and softly the sky changes
watch as the sky blue fades away
Away into a darker powder blue.
Intertwined with the clouds,
Comes a stripe of creamy orange.
As the night comes..
The stripe across the sky fades..
into an almost tangible purple.
The clouds become little whispers
Whispers ever so soft, barely indicating its presence.
As the sky fades and darkens
The Stars come out to play,
Shining ever so brightly.
The moon accompanying the small stars,
Keeping the paths lite ever so gently
The Ocean reflects the beauty,
Of the stars shining dancing art.
The Clouds join in,
dancing across the sky
floating and drifting.
The dance slows
The stars drift off into another area
The moon follows.
The sky turning back into day..
Until we meet again
Fare thee well
