Shattered and broke

Love that is shattered,
Hearts that are broken,
Mouths that are speaking,
Things being unwoven.

Tears being cried.
Laughter being sealed,
Emotions being intertwined,
Thoughts being revealed.

Movements stopping,
Speaking ceased,
Only thing heard,
Is tears falling on cheek.

Love that is idle.
Slipping away,
Memories playing,
All out for display.

Hands that are reaching,
missing the touch,
Lips that are longing,
And wanting so much.

Body that misses,
The blanket of warmth,
Eyes that want to see,
Something that used to be.

Smiles that are fake,
Laughs that are weak,
Jokes that are stale,
Caring is bleak.

Trying to move on,
Getting over is hard,
Making it there,
Took it to far.
