Stalkers

by Kayd   Jun 7, 2006

Behind a veil of satin silk,
Black in colour to contrast milk,
There is a secret like no other,
One hidden from one's brother,

Never would one find,
A think like this to confide,
Following them down the street,
Then running away smug and neat,

Oh how we wish they'd leave us be,
The little shadows behind me,
The first followed by another,
More than four and then my mother,

You see she has a gun for bed,
She keeps it right near her head,
So come too close and see what be,
Blown away from me you'll be.

Now the five of you should run away,
Save this for another day,
Cute as you are my mother would say no,
And outside you must go.

I do love you all as I've wept,
But not one for me can be kept,
So now you'd agree,
Little dogs of pedigree.

This poem seems to deal with temptation. :)
