Devil's Kiss

by Raychil   Jun 7, 2006

A boy now lays dying
With no one to bare witness
Of a sudden and terrible happening
This deathly sweet devil's kiss

Wrists torn and tattered
As pills start to kick in
Upon the floor his body falls
Knowing from sleep he won't awaken

Body relaxes and gives in,
Blood slowly runs dry
Skin grows cold, eyes start to fade
And a heart left to die

Eyes now staring
Black as coal
No sign of life
Or even a soul

Skin now pale
With a cold surround
More blood is pooling
But still no sound

Only limp shell remains
With a stained blade in hand
And note folded nicely
So people will understand

Made his life seem perfect
Put up a smiling lie
Everyone had been unable to notice
The crystals that hid in each eye

It is too late now to change
Permanently marked are his wrists
As Satan laughs from hell below
Another dead from his devil's kiss.

*I had written it once, but my computer deleted it, I tried to re-write it, but I don't think its as good. Hope its still decent.

Still Good? Of course. This has to be one of my favorites from yours... well, just because I like this kind of deep morbid fantasy type of stuff. It was so profound and the title let alone drawed me to this poem... but the words inside, with each poetic depth, made it worthwhile. Well Well Done.
