As i look up at the clock
i begin to wonder why
it seems to tick so slowly
minutes seem to take hours to go by
if only i could speed up time
turn minutes into seconds
then maybe i wouldn't be sitting here
watching time pass me by,
wondering where you are and what your doing
i think of your smile and of your laugh
and wonder why so helplessly I'm falling
it feels like it will never stop
i don't dare to ask
