Mother knows best

by Emma B   Jun 7, 2006

Emma was bad at love
She fell too fast and she loved too hard
Every glimmer of hope was always irrational because, well,
Mother is always right
She said he was a loser, that he was too old for her
And it was true
So Emma gave up
She gave up that feeling and
all that hope attached to the thought him because
What's the point of wishful thinking if it never comes true?
