A Gnawing Pain

I have betrayed you with thoughts of others
And i feel as if its eating me away
Every time I look at you
I act as if every things okay

I love you more than myself
and i always will
i know that one day it'll pass
and then everything will be still

If there is something out there
That can restrain my wandering thoughts
then please help me find it
because i really love him a lot

If for some reason you don't understand
then well thats okay
My shame lies deep within me
and eats at me where i lay
