Moon shadows (vampire)

by silhouette fairy   Jun 8, 2006

A whisper from above
creeping slowly,
silently,
in a dark shadow

roaming, in wonder,
the land never traveled
he finds a maiden
drains her and continues

silent in the night
he walks,
with no destination
never in the same place

traveling through darkness
with the moon as his sun
no dame is safe
not while he travels

to many he is a man
but to all he is a murderer
never awake at day
only at night

traveling in the shadows
created by our moon
haunting, hunting,
no one sleeps in the moon shadows

Very clearly told, though I feel that in some areas you could have explored to topic a little more deeply, in general it is a good piece with a smooth flow and clearly portrayed content
