Howl

Full moon greets the piercing eyes
So long dormant in disguise
The muscle, fangs, gleaming coat
The thoughts that insanity wrote
The rustle in the dead of night
The beating of a heart in plight
In the ambush, you do start
To hear the last thuds of her heart
The quickening of steaming breath
The sight, the chase, the painful death
The need to kill, to feast, to feed
The thrill of a corpses bleed
The tingles at the taste of flesh
Always best when slaughtered fresh
The gnawing at your stomach gone
Satisfied now, but not for long
Instinct is your only friend
Silver to take you to your end
As night ends, youll never know
The things you do, places you go
When morning comes, the news adduce
A beast is out, and on the loose
Shut your windows, lock your doors
Save yourself from merciless jaws
Keep your children safe at night
The wolf does deal a deadly bite
Hunts are formed to kill the thing
But all they do is bad news bring
No tracks of the animal are found
Like a shadow moves this half man - half hound
Youll never suspect the beast within
Hidden until next moon begins
And when it does, the agonizing change
Will only add to your beastly rage
You cant resist the calling card
Of others, just like you at heart
Tonight, evils on the prowl
And all that you can do is
Howl

I don't understand why your poems have so little comments... Another great one, 5/5.
