rose in your hand
and tears in your eyes
begging me for one more chance
one last time,
a perfect romance
you promise me the stars
and swear on the moon
id be yours again
if my wounds would mend
but you rip them open

i know it's all lies

but i open the door
and let you see
the blood is still running
out of me
you look for the bandage
you run for the phone
you call my mother
and tell her to come home

the whole way there
