I need a Angel

I need a angel
That can tell me right from wrong
To show that i am not a messup
And to sing to me a new song

I need a angel
That can stop these tears
To show me that my fate isn't so bad
And that I have a little more years

I need a angel
That can show me a better life
To never give up or let me go
And to take me away from that unfaithful knife.

I need a angel
That will make these needs come alive
To know I at least have something
And when i'm down give me a hi-five.

I need no angel to tell me i will get no help
That i am by myself
To fix my own problems
And to fix my own health.

    I really like this one because it reminds us that we all need a saviour by our side. We cant always be strong or no where to go which is why life is so hard. Nice work!

    You write well but you're more than less explaining and yes some poems tend to call for it but I think maybe you should write a poem that goes more into the emotions of why you want this or want that instead of just telling us. :)
