You write well but you're more than less explaining and yes some poems tend to call for it but I think maybe you should write a poem that goes more into the emotions of why you want this or want that instead of just telling us. :)

I really like this one because it reminds us that we all need a saviour by our side. We cant always be strong or no where to go which is why life is so hard. Nice work!
