If memories were candles

by Mr O   Jun 8, 2006

I thought that we should end it
Before this love grew to strong
I said that we were over
Now I know that I was wrong

You let me go my own way
And though I saw you crying
I did not change direction
Now my love remaines undying

But if memories were candles
they would brighten up the darkest night
I could find my way right back to you
And make every thing alright.

So I light a single candle
Place it in the window sill
In hopes that you too have memories
Perhaps your thinking of me still

Because if memories become candles
Maybe we can find are way
Back into each others arms
Were forever we will stay.
