Building This Wall and we Don't Even Know it

by The Crappy Poet   Jun 9, 2006

You saved my life.
And I saved yours.
We denied our friendship.
You knew we where close.
We trusted each other, like no one before.
Look what we've done now.
We have close that door.
Aligning the bricks, and cementing them down.
We are building this wall blind folded.
Hear them now? We're the talk of the town.
And in the end, we split in two.
A little part of us dyeing.
Pretending we know everything, but no knowing what to do
It's a part of growing up, I know.
But I'll miss you, will you miss me too?
We have made a great impact on each others lives.
And we will pretend to forget.
So, lets just remove these knives.
But there is alway a little part of us that will remember.
