Now i'm leaving you

by Bradley Peter   Jun 9, 2006

I saw you last, three years ago
by the bridge, but you didn't know
i saw you meet, another guy
i followed close, didn't know why
and then i saw, the thing of pain
and watched you get, onto the train
and then you went, to never return
wiped your hands, of my concern
and that was that, you were gone
and i tried so hard, to move on
to forget your face, forget your smile
and it worked, for just a while
you left me, in all those tears
now your back, from all those years

now here you are, in front of me
i cry in anger, how could this be
i walk away, leave you behind
bury you, in the back of my mind
now your gone, gone for good
you and i, misunderstood
this was the way, it was meant to be
you don't see that, you can't see
its a shame, it was this way
but on that day, you walked away
you with your life, me with mine
i guess this was just, god's design
i still loved you, i hope you knew
you left me, now I'm leaving you
